The Del Sharrons are a 5-piece young enthusiastic band with tons of experience performing and trying to recreate the songs of the 1950s Rock n Roll, stoll, doo wop, Jive, bop. This is a must for any dancer. 

What does your band name mean, and where does it come from? Our lead singer is called Sharon and in the fifties there were several doo wop groups with names with Del in such as the Del Satins, the Del Vikings and the Del Chords to name but a few.

The Del Sharrons are based in Thringstone Leicestershire and founding member Sharon Thurston started the band back in 2009, Sharon’s fiancée Matthew Collins joined the band in 2013 and now they run the band together as well as taking over Ibstock Rock N Roll club 

The band have great experience gigging all around the UK and their biggest gig to date is appearing at Wembley stadium not once but four time as part of the match day entertainment for the Fa Cup and the league cups.
